2 Days Desert Tour From Marrakech To Zagora

Day 1: Marrakech – Ouarzazate – Zagora – The Desert Camp

Marrakech Sahara tour, will begin at 8 am, toward the High Atlas Mountains, and “Tizi N-Tichka” pass .The view of the valleys and the Berber villages, perching the sides of mountains are spectacular, sometimes barely distinguishable from mountains themselves. A stop for lunch at Ouarzazate, after crossing another smaller path “Tizi N-Tinfifte”, then continue to Draa Valley at Agdz, passing by multiple villages, rivers, and gardens to get an idea of the style of life in the oasis. Arriving at Zagora, you will have a ride in the Camel to the Camp, to enjoy the sunset and have dinner, while the Berbers play a lovely piece of music.We will spend the night there, make sure to truly enjoy yourself in the silence and beauty of the desert. Day 2: Zagora – Marrakech

Try to wake up early to see the beauty of the sun rising in the desert sand. After breakfast, we will take a short off-road to Ouarzazate, to The Unesco World Heritage Site of the famous Ait Ben Hadou Kasbah, a Backdrop for many Hollywood Blockbusters, and one of the most important strongholds castles of the old Salt, a Road caravan route, in which traders brought gold, ivory, salt, and slaves from sub-Saharan Africa into Marrakech and beyond, and to the Glaoui”Telouet Kasbah”, which stands in rubble after the last Pasha fled the country after the departure of the French. We will return to Marrakesh, at the end of Marrakech Sahara tour, passing by many Berber villages, and valleys, observing oleander, fruit trees, gardens full of Apples, walnuts, and olives, Berber women tend their goats and sheep to climb the slopes searching for fodder and firewood.
